The House of Silk

The painting shows the front wall of a house with a door that is kept open. From the outside, we only see the dark space inside, and a piece of silky cloth, which is intertwined with a barrette, near the entrance. The artwork is divided into two large blocks of color. Above these, the intense blue of the fabric and the dull yellow of the needle stand out.
